I'm Micah Furtick—a filmmaker, photographer, and content strategist based in Greenville, South Carolina. I create bold, cinematic visual content for brands, businesses, artists, and people who want to be seen differently.

My work lives somewhere between commercial storytelling and real human connection. Whether I'm producing a brand film, photographing a chef, documenting a live performance, or creating portraits that actually feel like the person in them, my goal is the same: make something people remember.

My why

In 2016, I launched my first YouTube channel, Lone Wolf Airsoft Official, after playing airsoft once and seeing several airsofters online playing full-time because of their YouTube channel. I thought, “I can do that.”

Through the process of creating what started as gameplay and evolved into tutorials, reviews, and educational content, I fell in love with the creative process. I purchased my first camera- a Canon Rebel T7i- and filmed videos in my room talking about airsoft.

Eventually, I realized this is what I wanted to do with my life, and I started college at Anderson University, majoring in Communications: Digital Media. This is where I truly learned the art of storytelling through a lens and had opportunities to use better gear and cameras. Eventually, I started my first professional media job as a wedding videographer and got to film using Sony cinematic-line cameras.

After I graduated with my degree, I switched to Sony and joined the local film community. Through my time as a nonprofit social media manager and then a social media manager for a restaurant and numerous bars, I learned how to craft a story that resonated with people and connected them with the right place. I learned food photography, experimented with creative portraits, and worked on film sets- from small short films to Netflix sets.

All of this led me to my love for food/bev photography, commercial work, and weddings- three different fields that enable me to tell stories in different ways, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Storytelling is at the core of everything I do, conveying emotions through visuals to connect people through the screen.

Lasting impact

Everything I create is designed to make an impact, whether it is inducing cravings or helping a couple relive the best day of their lives in a way that feels authentic to who they are.

The last twenty years of my life has truly shaped who I am and what I do, including my education, life experiences, and years spent working in media. Each chapter has taught me how to see people, stories, and the world differently—and those experiences continue to shape how I create today.

U.S. Army Veteran

Army Veteran and former ROTC cadet, bringing the discipline, leadership, and resilience developed through military service into everything I do.

what I do when I'm off the clock

In my free time, you’ll likely find me gaming, adventuring, working out, or running a Tough Mudder. I’m always down to try a new BBQ spot or see a great film or just spend time with friends.

When I’m getting burnt out or I need a reset, I will ALWAYS find a mountain to climb and a view to enjoy.
